“Feels like we scored a bulls-eye picking this place to eat”
We booked here to meet before going for a healthy walk in Hatfield Forest, 2 miles down the road. Warmly welcomed by Paul and his staff, comfortably seated in the restaurant, which feels spacious and bright. The food was top class, and as I was driving later I appreciated an excellent Czech non-alcoholic ale, worth asking for if you like that style. Starters were more than generous, main courses satisfying, and the delicious desserts more than a cut above what we expected! Everything except the bread and ice-cream is made by the restaurant, and the value for money is incredible.
Naturally, we went back for tea after our walk!

We ordered Sea Trout and Lamb from the Sunday menu. The food was truly excellent, the price reasonable for the excellent quality and the staff were friendly. Great place
